Milwaukee Art Museum-Grand Reception Hall, 700 N. Art Museum Drive.

20th Season Spectacular Concert & Party opens the new Milwaukee Art Museum with a World Premiere of Kamran Ince's Flight Box. Other works by John Cage, Joan Tower and Steve Martland.

Milwaukee:

St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 914 E. Knapp Street.

Join in the unity of Present Music's annual Thanksgiving concert featuring both Chinese & American Indian cultures with a World Premiere by Qu Xiaosong. Other works by Ben Johnston; with organ works by Bach & Messiaen.

A winter concert at the new Art Museum featuring a World Premiere by Annie Gosfield. Other works by Karen Tanaka, Kamran Ince, Henry Brant, Mary Ellen Childs, and Phillip Bimstein.

A concert at the Milwaukee Art Museum of Scandinavian works & a World Premiere by Kimmo Hakola. Other composers to include Rautavaara, Saariaho, Sandstrom and Sallinen.

A World Premiere by Michael Torke honors Archbishop Rembert Weakland at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Other works by Elena Kats Chernin, Steve Reich, Arthur Jarvinen, Thomas Ades, John Cage, and John Downey.

 

CITY LIFE

Zelazo Concert Hall, UWM Peck School of the Arts, 2419 E. Kenwood Blvd.

20th Season Finale Concert & Party featuring the World Premiere of Jerome Kitzke's new work Haunted America. Other works by Tan Dun & Steve Reich.
